❌Dangerous
❌Uncertified
❌ILLEGAL

Always ask to see an electricians “gold” and “silver” card issued by ESV. If they refuse, FORGET IT.

Too often I have been called out to assess the ventilation in apartments that are less than 3 years old. This particular client contacted me and told me there was no exhaust fan or window in her bathroom which has caused black mould to start growing. Upon further investigation it seems that a switch for a fan had been run by the construction electrician but no fan ever installed. Not only is this pure laziness but it should never of passed building inspection. We were able to come up with a solution to Install a new exhaust fan and duct work to the roof of the apartment. I urge anyone experiencing bathroom exhaust issues to get onto it straight away before the mould destroys your bathroom.
