St Mary’s Cathedral is a treasured Hobart heritage landmark, designed by one of Australia’s greatest nineteenth-century architects, William Wardell. We worked closely with Claire from Cumulus Studio and Archdiocese of Hobart to reimagine St Mary's cathedral bringing back it’s former glory and detail through many different articulations. It was a pleasure to collaborate and incredibly satisfying to ensure the history is preserved to enjoy for next generation.

Cosy, warm vibes at the Delatite Winery in Mansfield. The strong family connection to the earth is carefully reflected in the choice of concrete mix for their new cellar door. ⁠
Blue aggregate, mixed with locally sourced gold and red river gravel reflect the soil in which their amazing wines are grown. It was quite special to have polished their concrete floor and hearth, all the while feeling that deep rooted connection.⁠

Here is a great example of an outdoor/indoor transition using natural stone in a complementary manner. Real concrete overlay pairs wonderfully with other natural materials. A brass trim acts as not just as an expansion joint between the two materials, but a gorgeous edge which subtly marries the two together.⁠⁠
