Coming into Storm and Fire season ensuring that your home or facility has power during these unexpected events is extremely important.

Redline Elec has recently completed the installation of a 1ph 20kva diesel standby generator set at a part rural CFA site to ensure that in the event the station loses power they can still operate out of their head quarters and importantly ensuring all there communication equipment stays live.

The generator is set up for full manual control with a remote Enabled Start Switch to start the generator from internally of the facility and a Manual Transfer Switch to be able to switch between Grid Supply and Generator Supply manually when they desire.
Redline Elec performed a Main Switchboard Upgrade to achieve this.

Redline Elec installed a concrete foundation for the generator to be installed on and managed all logistics of the project to ensure the project was completed and delivered within the clients time frame.
All works were performed in house to complete this installation.

Earlier this year Redline Electrical Pty Ltd assisted in the installation of a permanent standby genset at a new hotel in Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport.
It was to retro fit a 4 pole isolating switch between the gensets alternator connection point and generator distribution board.
This is to achieve no live parts are connected to the genset when any tech or maintenance personnel are working on the genset.
Staying up to date with forever evolving standards is extremely important.
