Floating shelves, 300mm apart, and nothing you can see holding them up.
There’s a subframe fixed back to the studs before the plaster goes on. The shelf slides over it. That’s the whole trick — and it’s why the sequence matters more than the shelf itself. Get the order wrong and you’re opening a finished wall to fix it.
We set ours out at the joinery stage, because we’re the ones making the joinery. No drawing gets emailed to a factory and misread.
