This **brand-new kids’ drum kit, rescued from landfill and still in its box**, has now been put together by our team! 🎶

All it needs now is a little cherub ready to start learning, making some noise and maybe becoming the **next drumming superstar!**

Another great example of **Reduce, Reuse & Repurpose** — giving something brand new a second chance instead of sending it to landfill. ♻️💚

From ReUse Shop Finds to a Handy Creation 🔧♻️

One of our regular creative patrons kindly allowed us to share a photo of his latest accomplishment — and we think it’s a fantastic example of **reuse in action!**

Each of the pieces used to create this handy item was purchased from the ReUse Shop at different times. He had an idea, kept an eye out during his visits, found the right pieces and then had them welded together to bring his idea to life.

The result? Something practical, useful and completely unique — made from items that might otherwise have been overlooked. 🙌

This is exactly what we love about reuse: **you never know what you might find, or what you can create with it!**

🌿 **Bits and pieces today!** 🌿

With the weather feeling like spring, it’s got us thinking about all those projects we’ve been **going to get around to**… but somehow ran out of time for! 😂

Now it’s time to declutter, and luckily there are plenty of people happy to pass their **“I’m going to…”** projects on to someone else.

We’ve been busy sorting a collection of AFL cards into **team bundles**!

❤️💙 **Pick your team and grab a bundle** — or why not collect more than one team? There’s plenty of footy fun to go around!

⭐ We’ve also found a few **special cards** along the way, which have been relocated into our **glass cabinet** for a closer look.

🥶 **Brrrrrr... it was SO, SO, SO cold in the shed today!** 🥶

But that didn’t stop people stopping in to see **what’s new at the ReUse pole!** 😂♻️

And we’ve been busy saving some goodies from landfill, including:

🧩 Mosaic tiles & tools
🐪 A lovely camel throw
☕ Some T2 tins
⌨️ A device that pre-dates digital... the trusty **typewriter!**

Cold fingers, warm laughs and plenty of treasures finding their way to a second life. ❤️

That’s another day at the ReUse Shop — **saving good stuff from landfill and having a laugh while we’re at it!** ♻️

💚 **It’s funny how a ReUse Shop can become a place where people connect.**

Some of our regulars started by simply popping in for a browse… and somewhere along the way, the familiar faces, conversations and plenty of laughs became part of the day. 😊

We’ve got regulars who know exactly where to look, regulars who come to see what’s new, and regulars who pop in for a chat and somehow end up staying for a good laugh. 😂

There’s something pretty special about those little connections that happen naturally — a shared memory, a funny story, a bit of friendly banter or just seeing a familiar face and saying **“G’day!”**

And of course, there’s always the reason everyone came in…

💛 **Friends helping friends... one brick at a time.** 💛

As we look forward to pulling open the shed door this friday, we've been busy sorting through a **generous LEGO donation**.

There are **heaps of LEGO Friends mini figures**, **loads of loose bricks**, and **a few completed sets** ready to find new homes. Whether you're looking to complete a collection, spark a child's imagination, or simply relive your own LEGO days, there's something waiting to be discovered.

We're starting to think we're accidentally building the biggest aquarium in Plenty! 🐠😂

Another **large fish tank** has found its way to the Reuse Shop, making it **three big aquariums saved from landfill**.

We won't be stocking fish anytime soon... but if you've been planning an aquarium, a terrarium, or an epic aquascaping project, we'd say it's a sign!

Who knows what'll swim through the doors next? 🦈 (Please don't take that as a challenge!)
