When you do something worth talking about, people talk. πŸπŸ“°
Beesfriend has been featured across local and independent media β€” not because we sought the spotlight, but because the story of rescuing bees instead of exterminating them resonates with people.
πŸ“° "No Hive Left Behind"
Pakenham Gazette β€” August 2023
Journalist Matthew Sims visited our sites across South East Melbourne to document what ethical bee rescue actually looks like on the ground.
πŸ“° "Bees Need Our Help"
Pakenham Gazette β€” March 2025
Journalist Afraa Kori visited our hives in Berwick, Beaconsfield and Narre Warren North to witness firsthand how we're saving bees and why it matters for all of us.
πŸŽ₯ Eastern Melburnian
August 2025 β€” filmed on location at Belgrave South, featured in a multi-part video series on how bees are impacted by our changing environment.
🌿 CERES Fair Food
August 2024 β€” featured in a full editorial by the CERES Fair Food team, who stock our honey and called our work essential to the future of bee health in Victoria.

Come see me and buy some honey from rescued hives for your mum.

πŸ‘‰ New stallholder, BEESFRIEND is all about the well-being of the bees. Laszlo Kun, founder and owner of Beesfriend https://beesfriend.com.au/about says his motivation is to sustain the number of pollinators, preserve the environment and educate about the importance of honeybees. All operation is self-funded, reinvesting 100% from the sale of pure bee products; honey, wax, and propolis. Some of our younger patrons at the April market (see pic) were also 'busy bees' taking in the aroma of his products on display. Beeeeutiful!
