I have spent the last 4 hours pruning this huge batch of preordered cuttings to be sent out tomorrow. I cut each variety one by one, take it inside, label, place in water, sterilise my pruners and back out for the next variety, this takes time, but it ensures accuracy, freshness and avoiding cross contamination.

Now it is time to wash each cutting and allow to air dry. Then the fun part of packing. This is an all day exercise.

If you have not yet been contacted and requested your cuttings to be sent before August, I will get to you in my next batch in a weeks time. :)

➡️PRESALE UPDATE:
As my trees begin to enter dormancy, I will soon be able to start fulfilling some orders. This will commence from Monday 15th
I will contact you on the weekend if your order is ready to be sent Monday.

Preorders are now CLOSED. Once I am able to fulfil majority of your orders, I will better know what I have left to sell cuttings wise.

Just when I thought the season was over, I had the privilege of trying my first ever fig off this variety which was grafted in late Spring of this season. The flavour gave me a bit of a surprise as the trees are falling asleep and winter is just a few day away!

It had a complex deep berry flavour which resembled blueberry and watermelon. Very nice! This one is clearly going to be a winner!
