The Bupa Campus project stands out for Vemi not just for its design, but for the strong female representation. Women made up 75% of the on-site delivery team – including our Construction Manager, Jen – and 64% of the broader project team across design, preconstruction, and leadership.

For Jen Thompson, delivering the project was about more than timelines; it meant keeping the client’s needs at the centre of every decision.

2025 has been another great year for Vemi. As we close out the year and head into 2026, we wanted to share a few highlights along the way.

A Few Big Highlights:
• We promoted four talented team members and welcomed five new faces across the business.
• Our team supported charities in the Surf Coast Trek and Push-Up Challenge as well as participated in a range of events across the built environment sector.
• We continued to support the broader property community through events with Property Council of Australia (PCA), Multicultural Association of Property Professionals (MAPP) Inc. as well as other industry partners.
• Pip Sharp and Jules Kirwan were selected for PCA’s 500 Women in Property program, as well as Steph Ambrose being a finalist for PCA’s People First Award – both of which we’re incredibly proud to be involved in.

As always, we extend our sincere thanks to all our clients as well as our valued industry partners. Collaborating to shape the future of the workplace is a privilege!

Project Overview
Refreshing Levels 2 and 3 at 263 George Street, Sydney, involved delivering two speculative suites designed to attract tenants and support our clients leasing goals. The project prioritised efficiency by replicating flexible layouts and using warm timber laminates, feature carpets, accent paint, and graphic glazing film to create a modern, adaptable workspace.

Inspired by Sydney’s golden hour, the palette blends deep blues and soft oranges. A focus on sustainability through adaptive reuse reduced environmental impact while enhancing the space. Delivered on time and on budget, the fitout offers a timeless, cost-effective solution that meets market needs.

Last Friday, across our Melbourne and Sydney offices we celebrated International Women’s Day—a day to recognise the incredible women who shape our industry, our workplaces, and our communities.

A highlight was having Pip, Steph, Jen, and Bec attend the Property Council of Australia’s International Women’s Day Longest Lunch in Melbourne. A great afternoon filled with powerful conversations and a collective commitment to driving change; particularly Anna Meares who’s story was inspiring.

Project Overview
Vemi was engaged by Charter Hall to transform a dated office space on Level 5 into two appealing tenancies. The project involved creating two separate tenancies - one into a warm shell fitout and the other into a high-quality Speculative Suite. In addition to the suite fitouts, Vemi was tasked with upgrading the lift lobby and bathroom amenities to enhance the overall building experience. The goal of the project was to refresh the entire floor, creating a modern, appealing environment that would stand out in the market and draw prospective tenants.

This project represents premium design and craftsmanship, catering to a high-end market with its modern aesthetics and state-of-the-art features. Situated right on the Yarra River, this office suite boasts stunning views of Melbourne’s cityscape. The design balances flowing curves and clean lines with a warm, neutral palette, creating a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere.
