BWS Eden | Heritage Flooring Rectification

Following a freezer failure at BWS Eden, significant water damage had occurred to the existing heritage Blackbutt timber flooring and underlying substrate, leaving sections of the floor requiring substantial rectification.

While our team was working in the area, we were asked to step in and provide a solution to rectify the damage and bring the floor back to life.

Our works included:

• Removal of damaged Blackbutt flooring and affected substrate
• Assessment and rectification of the underlying floor structure
• Replacement of damaged sections with Blackbutt timber flooring
• Integration of new flooring into the existing heritage floor
• Sanding, finishing and restoration to achieve a consistent appearance
• Careful delivery within an operational retail environment

Rather than simply replacing the damaged area, the focus was on retaining the character of the existing timber floor while restoring its presentation and serviceability.

A challenging repair requiring some patience and attention to detail, but a great outcome for the store.

Reactive maintenance that quickly became a specialist flooring rectification project, exactly the type of work our teams enjoy delivering.

Reliability. Respect. Relationships.

DDA Bathroom Refurbishment | Mount Waverley

Another refurbishment well underway for Carter Grange Homes and GateWay Capital in Mount Waverley.

Safety never takes a day off. 👷‍♂️⛑️

This week our senior leader completed their First Aid and Working at Heights Refresher Training, with a qualified assessor delivering the course right here at our Collingwood headquarters.

The day began in the classroom, refreshing the team on legislation, hazard identification, permit systems, emergency procedures and safe work practices before moving into our factory for practical demonstrations and hands on scenarios.

Training like this isn’t just about maintaining qualifications—it’s about ensuring every member of our team has the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to return home safely every day while delivering the highest standard of service to our clients.

Continuous learning, continuous improvement, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

Because at Prime Maintenance Projects, safety isn’t a box we tick, it’s the foundation of everything we do.

🚧 Project Spotlight | Sydney Metro 🚧

Another great result delivered by our NSW team, led by Joel, at Team Global Express’ Eastern Creek depot

One of the largest and busiest freight facilities in the Sydney metropolitan network.

As part of our client’s end-of-financial-year CAPEX program, the team successfully completed the replacement of 200 dual-wheel truck parking bay wheel stops, along with a range of traffic management rectification works across the site to improve safety, functionality and long-term asset performance.

Working within a live logistics environment requires detailed planning, clear communication and safe ex*****on to minimise disruption while keeping one of Australia’s key transport hubs operational.

A huge credit to Joel and the NSW crew for another quality delivery and for continuing to demonstrate what Prime Maintenance Projects is all about Reliability, Respect and Relationships.

Thank you to the Team Global Express team for the opportunity and your continued trust in our business.

A new WorkCover year means one thing at Prime Maintenance Projects… it’s time to refresh our Safety Notice Board.

Our Safety Notice Board is more than just paperwork on a wall, it’s the central point for keeping our team informed, compliant and safe. It reflects the standards we work to every day and ensures everyone has access to the latest safety information.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be updating and reissuing:
✔️ Company WHS policies and procedures
✔️ Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
✔️ Emergency information and key contacts
✔️ Toolbox Talk resources
✔️ Legislative and WorkCover updates
✔️ Training and competency information
✔️ Incident reporting processes
✔️ Health and wellbeing resources

At the same time, we’ll be reviewing our management systems and ensuring our compliance remains current across CM3, Avetta and LinkSafe, so our people and our clients can have confidence that we’re continually raising the bar.

Safety isn’t an annual exercise, it’s a commitment to continuous improvement. The new WorkCover year simply provides the perfect opportunity to review, refresh and reinforce the standards that keep our team safe and our business moving forward.

Prime Maintenance Projects, everyone has a role to play in creating a safer workplace.

Reliability. Respect. Relationships.

🎙️ what an honour to be invited and sit down to do the Let’s Talk Facilities Podcast!

https://youtu.be/Os0l4WSavWI?si=J_oJTTyas6SpR-Oo

This episode sees Aaron and Ben sit down with Jimmy House and Jake Bray from Prime Maintenance Projects Pty Ltd for a candid conversation about what truly makes a successful service provider partnership within the facilities management industry.

We discuss:

🔹 Why the right contractor relationship is about delivering certainty, trust, and peace of mind—not simply the lowest price.

🔹 Common mistakes Facilities Managers continue to make around make-good obligations, authority approvals, and building permit requirements.

🔹 The significant circular economy opportunities hidden within defits and refurbishment projects, and why the industry needs to be having more conversations about reuse, recovery, and sustainable outcomes.

With years of experience delivering maintenance, fit-out, make-good, and project works across commercial, government, industrial, and retail environments, Jimmy and Jake share practical insights, lessons learned, and what they believe separates good contractors from great partners.

A great discussion for Facilities Managers, property professionals, asset owners, and anyone involved in the built environment.

Friday Afternoon Toolbox Session 🍻🔥

A great way to wrap up another busy week at Prime Maintenance Projects Pty Ltd.

This afternoon we got the team together for our regular toolbox meeting, followed by a BBQ, a couple of well-earned beers, and plenty of discussion about football results, golf scores, and everything in between. Big Cam made himself right at home behind the BBQ.

It was also an opportunity to share some exciting news with the team, including several major project wins, fit-out works, and new contracts that will keep us busy well into the new financial year.

As we approach the end of the financial year, we’ve been focused on more than just project delivery. The team has undertaken a comprehensive factory clean-up, completed stocktakes of tools and equipment, audited our test and tag register, and worked through a range of operational improvements to ensure we’re ready for the next phase of growth.

Heading into our fourth year of operation, we’re on track for a record-breaking year. We’re incredibly proud of what the team has achieved and look forward to sharing some of the exciting opportunities and developments on the horizon in the coming weeks.

Most importantly, days like today reinforce one of the key pillars of our culture – respect. The respect our team has for one another, the pride they take in their workplace, and the time they make to enjoy each other’s company is what makes Prime Maintenance Projects such a great place to work.

Thanks to the entire team for another huge week. Onwards and upwards. 👏

A significant step forward for

We’re proud to share that Prime is now a recognised NDIS provider, expanding our capability across the aged care, disability care, hospital, and mental health sectors.

This milestone reflects more than accreditation, it represents the ongoing investment in our people. Our technicians are now qualified to operate within live clinical environments, delivering works with the care, awareness, and compliance these sensitive settings demand.

Across South Australia, Victoria and Queensland, we are actively supporting national aged care and retirement living providers, with embedded technicians on sites 2–3 days per week.

This model is proving incredibly effective, not just from a service delivery perspective, but from a human one.

By having consistent, familiar faces on-site, we’re building genuine relationships with residents, staff, and facility managers.

It’s not just about fixing things, it’s about:
- Creating comfort and familiarity for residents
- Delivering a personal, respectful approach in every interaction
- Aligning closely with our clients’ care and operational goals

We’ve always believed that maintenance is more than a service, it’s a partnership. In these environments, that couldn’t be more important.

We’re proud to be supporting some of Australia’s most important sectors with a model built on Reliability, Respect, and Relationships.
