From launching our first data centre to welcoming an incredible group of new talent, it’s been a milestone year for the White Rhino team. Now it’s time to unwind, enjoy great food and drinks, and celebrate everything we’ve achieved together.

We work hard and celebrate harder. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported White Rhino along the way, we couldn’t have done it without you. We’re excited to keep building momentum into the years ahead.

✨Strengthening Our Team with Experience and Emerging Talent✨

We are excited to introduce two great additions who have recently joined the White Rhino Switchboards team – Kris and Ryan.

Kris joined us back in September and is now a 2nd year Electrical Apprentice, continuing to build on the solid foundation he’s developed so far in the trade. He’s eager to learn, engaged with the team, and has shown genuine enthusiasm for developing his skills in switchboard manufacturing.

Since joining us in August, Ryan has brought over 10 years of switchboard expertise, backed by a strong technical skillset and valuable industry knowledge. Since his first week, Ryan has embraced our way of working, taking on a variety of tasks around the workshop, sharing his knowledge with the apprentices and the rest of the team.

We are committed to maintaining a culture where people grow, support one another and take pride in their work. Ryan and Kris are great examples of that future and we cannot wait to see their growth at White Rhino.

🌟 Celebrating One of Our Rising Stars at White Rhino Switchboards 🌟

Mikayla joined us as a school-based apprentice in December 2024 and has recently stepped into a full-time apprenticeship as of November 2025. In such a short time, she has shown exceptional dedication, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to grow and learn within the trade.

To top it off, Mikayla has been recognised as School-Based Apprentice of the Year! An incredible achievement and a testament to her hard work and passion for the industry. 👏🎉

At White Rhino Switchboards, we are committed to supporting and growing the next generation of women in trade and Mikayla is a shining example of the talent and potential shaping the future of our workforce.

We’re proud to celebrate our newest A-Grade Electrician, Liam!
Throughout his apprenticeship, Liam has demonstrated exceptional skills, commitment, and attention to detail, especially in control wiring, where his precision and passion really shine.

His hard work and dedication were also recognised when he achieved 2nd place in the Regional World Skills Competition, an outstanding accomplishment that speaks volumes about his talent and drive.

We’re excited to see what’s next for Liam as he continues to grow and make his mark across our projects. Congratulations on this incredible milestone, we’re lucky to have you on the team! 👏👏

It’s been a huge couple of months here at White Rhino and we couldn’t be any more proud of our team and what they have acheived.

Project Update – New Main Switchboard Installation

This week, our team completed the installation of a new 3200A rated main switchboard! 🤩

Due to spatial constraints our Drafting, Engineering and Manufacturing teams had to get creative, designing and joining five sections in a U-shape to make it work within the switch room, all while maintaining safety and functionality.

Proud of everyone for the solid teamwork and problem solving to achieve this feat. It's always rewarding to see a tricky install come together smoothly! 💪
