Murrum Primary School is a new supported inclusion campus in Weir Views designed to bring students and staff together within a shared and welcoming learning environment. A central sequence of courtyards connects the school’s key facilities, creating a clear social heart for learning, gathering and community use. Circular forms and yarning spaces are integrated throughout the architecture and landscape, providing inclusive places for storytelling, conversation, shared learning and connection to Country.

The Stage 2B addition at Benalla P–12 College creates flexible food technology, canteen, dining and staff spaces that adapt to changing school and community programs.

Operable walls allow rooms to expand, contract or connect, supporting everyday school use, teaching, student-led catering, larger gatherings, community events and after-hours hire. This flexibility enables the building to respond to different activities, group sizes and levels of public access throughout the day.

Benalla P–12 College Stage 2B introduces a new gateway building for administration, food technology, canteen and community use. Two simple east–west building forms strengthen the campus entry while supporting passive environmental performance.

Sustainability and wellbeing are embedded through all-electric systems, solar PV, natural ventilation, improved insulation and airtightness, low-toxicity materials, natural light, acoustic comfort and strong connections to the central courtyard, landscape and outdoor learning areas.

Maribyrnong Civic Precinct + Community Hub Redevelopment has received a commendation in the Sustainability Advancement category at the 2026 Australian Interior Design Awards.

This redevelopment celebrates and connects the heritage of Footscray Town Hall. With new community spaces, agile workspaces and a new community park, it delivers a new 6-Star Green Star Design-rated building.

We’re so proud of the project team and congratulate the participating and winning practices in the 2026 Awards.
