Tropical Backyards is all about helping people create there own tropical style paradise down here in Melbourne. My recent garden creation is this lovely home in the Bayside area, a stone’s throw away from Port Phillip Bay. When I first met up with my clients and saw their home, my thoughts were to create a Bahamas style tropical garden to complement their large white modern home. This style of garden was exactly what they had in mind. They wanted tall palms planted out the front, with 3m trunks, a real statement from the street. This garden is still a work in progress. Today we positioned the plants using the garden deigns I created, my clients had input and I made a few tweaks. I will keep you updated on the progress of this garden throughout the next couple of weeks. Planting starts tomorrow from the boys at True Green Nursery, who also supplied the fantastic plants from their nursery here in Melbourne.
