TOOBORAC
- Construction just finished on this beautiful dwelling in Tooborac!
This has to be one of the world’s most unique landscapes with exposed boulders littered all over; photos struggle to do it justice. Geologically speaking, volcanic magma cooled underground around 370 million years ago and as tectonic plates shifted and eroded overlying rock, the boulders became exposed, via a phenomenon known as “onion-skin-weathering”!
The dwelling is stunning too no doubt; constructed from prefabricated exposed timber mullions and joists with frameless glass panels, silicone jointed in-situ.
