We replaced the existing cylinder with a 250L Therman as well as replacing that horrendous pipework.

Going old school....We had to break the the existing pan out due to it being mortared in. Due to the height of the existing soil pipe we had to raise the new pan and mortar it in.
Crazy to think that this was the norm 40-50 years ago.

Gas leaks....Today we were called out to a rental property as there gas had been shut off by their supplier.
We found that the compression nut on the isolation valve to the hot water unit was only hand tight......💥🔥💣

Hot water replacement, the existing unit was leaking and did not comply as it was too close to the wall.
We installed a new 135L Therman hws with the required clearances.

These clients came home to find that their old gravity fed hot water unit had split in the ceiling...
