This one didn’t go exactly to plan…

We originally built this shed for a builder who had planned and purchased it through another supplier. Unfortunately, a miscommunication in the design meant the shed wasn’t positioned correctly for the off-grid solar setup to work as intended.

On top of that, the frame supplied wasn’t strong enough to support the weight of the off-grid system — another oversight that added to the complications.

It turned into an extremely costly exercise for the customer — the shed had to be pulled down, modified, reinforced, and rebuilt to get everything aligned properly and performing as it should.

If D-Luxe Design & Build had managed the full project from day one, this could have been avoided entirely.

The takeaway? When it comes to designing your shed, every detail matters — from structure to orientation. Having one experienced team handle the entire job makes all the difference.

Wrapped up another ripper project!

This one was the full works — earthworks, concrete slab, full shed build, and driveway — all handled in-house by the D-Luxe Design & Build team.

🌞☃️ Embracing the winter wonders, we kicked off the day with an early start and poured a spectacular slab today! ❄️💪 The chilly air couldn't dampen our spirits as we worked diligently to create a solid foundation that will withstand the test of time.
