Heavy Rigid ( HR ) HOOK TRUCK Driver - Melbourne FULL TIME HOURS

Simcat are currently looking for an experienced Hook Truck driver to join our ever-growing team.
Successful Applicants will be provided with a Truck to drive that will require a Heavy Rigid Licence. In return the successful applicant will be permitted to drive the company vehicle home to save on personal travel costs.
Work hours are generally Monday-Saturday.
The Successful applicant will;
- Have knowledge of Safe work practices, be compliant with WorkSafe and company policies
- Be physically fit and willing to work - Be trustworthy as the position has freedom and autonomy
Successful applicants must have:
- White Card
- Clean and current driver's licence (HR)
- Excellent work ethic
- A willingness to complete some manual labour tasks whilst onsite
- Good Knowledge of Melbourne and local tips / scrap metal yards.
- Experience of truck hydraulics (eg. rear load, hook lift, tippers, front lift etc.) is a must. Duties include:
- Labouring tasks to assist Machine operators
- Driving Heavy Rigid vehicles in CBD and surrounds
- Loading and unloading skip bins
- Securing loads inclusive of tying and tarping skip bins Minimum
Requirements:
- HR Licence
- Current VIC Roads Report
- Working with Children Check an advantage
- Stable recent work history
- Checkable work references
Due to the high volumes of applications expected we can only respond to people who match all of the above criteria and have experience in driving and operating a hook truck or working within the demolition and waste removal industry.
