When “The Look” doesn’t work with The Life

This gorgeous designer bank of frameless glass doors didn’t quite stand up to Melbourne’s fickle weather. The look was fabulous but the whistling sometimes howling wind was unbearable and all manner of bugs felt welcome to join the family indoors!

Our client asked us to come up with a custom-made solution that would be sympathetic to the design of the home. Working together, we designed a commercial aluminium double-glazed bank of panoramic windows and sliding doors for security, energy efficiency and liveability.

We road-tested it last week in the high winds and heavy rain and “hey presto”: Problems Solved, Stunning-ness Maintained!

Amazing Apartment Transformation

Our client in Glen Huntly had massive problems with the rotting timber doors on her terrace leaking and damaging the downstairs neighbours’ apartment.

Working carefully with the Body Corporate and our trusted waterproofing partners, we replaced the whole bank of windows with new Aluminium Double-Glazed Awning and Fixed Windows and French Doors.

The end result is stunning and no more leaks. 😁

Amazing Apartment Transformation

Sensational Stackers!

Stacker doors are the perfect Entertainer Door for Melbourne. Our Brighton clients wanted better access to their beautiful decking and didn’t want all the hassle and interruption of multi-panel bifold and sliding doors.

Stackers allow for easy exit/entry like a regular sliding door, then open up when family and friends come over to play.

Best of all, the sleek frame and large glass panels let in loads of light while the double glazing regulates the indoor temperature comfortably. Nice transformation for a $10K investment! 😁

Space Saving Sliding Doors

This Middle Park living room and courtyard feels so much bigger now. The old timber French doors created a visual blockade from the living area to the outside, and the swing space outside cost about 2 square metres of usable space.

The new aluminium double-glazed dual sliding doors, with their attractive slimline frames, have opened up the whole area.

Our super happy client is thrilled with their $9K investment into creating more light and space.

Deco without the Dollars! 😁

Our clients in Langwarrin had seen a Modern Industrial / Art Deco style online that they imagined would look great in their living room.

We took their vision and made it happen with aluminium double-glazed French doors and sidelites, for a fraction of the cost of steel. The double-glazing satisfied modern energy efficiency requirements while keeping that period styling.

We removed the old window, cut down the brickwork, re-framed and installed the lot for under $12K. We reckon the outcome is superb 😁
