I only made a video for this and felt sharing photos of the work was ideal as it was a fantastic job. A lot of hard work & dedication went in. Happened to catch my leg with the nail gun for the first time 🤦‍♂️
Definitely brought back some memories!

• 36 Meters of Exposed Cypress Posts Painted Up 700mm in Waterproof Membrane, Lapped & Capped Paling, Double Sleeper with Waterproof Membrane applied to the side Retaining Earth, Diamond Top Posts finished off with 1 Single Timber Capped Gate, 2 x Single & 1 x Double Merbau Gate With Black Steel Framing & Posts.

Dune Colorbond 1.8m High with Colorbond Lattice, 1 x Single Gate & 1 x Double Gate.

The existing Colorbond fence was installed poorly first time round from another contractor.
•Top rails not lining up to the caps. ❌
•Dented Colorbond gate sheet. ❌
•High wind area, 3 in ground posts with a 180mm circumference. ❌
•Missing post caps & gate frame caps. ❌
•D-latch kit for the front entrance. ❌

Updating this fence, we had to shuffle things around. By adding 2 additional 65x65 posts we were able to gain the strength this fence required from go. We also added 2 double sided latches, cleaned everything and it now looks professionally finished and clean. 👏

•Top rails line up with top caps. ✅
•Replaced dented gate sheet. ✅
•5 in ground posts with a 250mm circumference 650mm deep using high strength concrete. ✅
•Finished with all post caps & gate frame caps. ✅
•Safetech lockable double sided viper latches. ✅

Started out with a Timber privacy fence within the backyard, months later we were back to install 1 panel of Colorbond, weeks after that we are back to close the gap and add Colorbond sheets as cladding and a single Colorbond Gate. It came together in the end 😬
