Amongst the tangle of salvia is my very first blue banded bee. I noticed him last week and have attempted to get a photo of him each day but he’s shy and quick so you’ll just have to believe me that he’s in there! It’s hard to describe the joy I felt when I saw him darting around in this little pocket but I know other gardeners will understand. Meanwhile, it seems the girls are preparing to hibernate. Or the garden is becoming wilder. I suspect a bit of both 🌿🐝
