Two homes can share a composition without losing their own sense of address.

Maison Gilmour is our side-by-side townhouse and dual-occupancy project in Bentleigh. Repeated upper frames give the frontage a shared rhythm, while separate recessed entrances establish two distinct arrivals.

The project page describes a design approach centred on independent living, clear separation and private outdoor space. For owners considering a similar development, these are useful matters to discuss alongside the number of dwellings: how each home meets the street, where its entry sits and how daily movement is organised.

Curves are most powerful when they shape experience—not simply appearance.

The Sovereign Contemporary Estate is conceived for Toorak as a sculptural family residence formed through continuous movement. Sweeping white bands frame the façade, while black stone, warm timber and curved glazing create depth, contrast and a strong sense of arrival.

The same flowing language continues inside. Curved walls and generous voids guide movement between spaces, softening transitions from formal entertaining to everyday family life. Expansive glazing draws natural light deep into the home while maintaining privacy from neighbouring properties.

A generous main kitchen and supporting secondary kitchen serve both daily routines and larger gatherings. Multiple living zones, private suites, work and wellness spaces allow a multi-generational household to gather or retreat with ease. Landscaped terraces and outdoor lounges extend the composition beyond the building.

Integrated lighting reveals the curved form after dusk without competing with the material palette.

This enhanced design visualisation presents the project intent within a natural Toorak streetscape. It is not a completed-site photograph.

A knockdown rebuild creates its greatest value when the new home responds more intelligently to the site and the family who will live there.

Le Palais Doré transforms an ageing Balwyn North property into a bespoke French Provincial residence with a clear hierarchy of arrival. The symmetrical pale façade is centred on formal double doors, while a dark roof, decorative parapet, warm integrated lighting and wrought-iron details give the frontage depth and measured presence.

The planning is equally deliberate. Site orientation and natural light inform an open-plan living and dining domain, supported by a premium kitchen, high-end appliances and a butler’s pantry. Multiple living areas provide flexibility for gathering and retreat, while clear separation between shared and private zones supports calm daily movement.

Generous bedrooms with ensuite options, a main suite with walk-in robe, a dedicated study and flexible guest accommodation allow the home to adapt over time. The alfresco extends entertaining outdoors, while custom cabinetry, smart-home readiness and integrated security strengthen everyday comfort.

The result is a purposeful Balwyn North transformation—refined at the street, practical at its centre and planned for long-term family life.

A prestige home becomes more meaningful when its sense of order supports both cultural priorities and everyday family life.

Le Magnifique transforms an existing Box Hill site into a French Provincial knockdown rebuild shaped by symmetry and a strong central arrival. The pale façade is organised around a double-height entry and curved colonnade, with balanced glazing, refined classical detailing and formal fountain gardens creating presence without visual clutter.

The planning applies Feng Shui considerations to orientation, entrance placement, circulation, natural light and the relationship between key rooms. Formal living and dining areas provide space for occasions, while open-plan family zones support relaxed daily connection. A premium kitchen with a generous butler’s pantry or secondary kitchen allows everyday cooking and larger gatherings to operate comfortably.

Multiple living zones give different generations room to gather or retreat. A ground-floor parents’ or guest suite, private bedroom areas, a dedicated study and covered alfresco add flexibility as household needs change.

The result is a culturally responsive Box Hill home where European formality, family privacy and practical movement are brought into balance.

Le Château Montfleury demonstrates that a prestige residence can command attention through precision rather than scale alone.

Set within Balwyn, the Neo-Classical French Provincial home is organised around a disciplined, symmetrical composition. Tall French doors establish vertical rhythm, Corinthian pilasters frame the central entrance, and decorative parapets reinforce the measured horizontal order. A pale limestone-inspired render and custom wrought-iron gates create a refined material contrast.

The frontage becomes particularly expressive after dusk. Warm integrated lighting reveals the depth of the mouldings, cornices and pilasters while guiding visitors from the street through the formal garden to the double entrance.

That clarity continues inside. A soaring foyer and grand stair connect formal entertaining rooms with open-plan family living beyond. The central kitchen combines premium natural stone, custom cabinetry and integrated European appliances, supported by a fully equipped butler’s pantry. Broad French doors bring natural light into the living areas and extend gatherings towards the alfresco terrace and gardens.

It is a considered Balwyn home where ceremony, comfort and long-term family flexibility are held in careful balance.

Château Lumière is conceived around the experience of arrival: formal enough to feel memorable, yet carefully measured for Brighton family life.

Wrought-iron gates lead through structured gardens to a pale stone pathway and a monumental four-column Corinthian portico. The façade is rigorously symmetrical, with arched openings, refined mouldings and classical balustrades creating rhythm across the frontage. A large arched window above the entrance brings light into the double-height foyer and reinforces the central axis.

Inside, the sequence balances occasion with everyday ease. Formal sitting and dining rooms sit near the arrival, while open-plan kitchen, dining and family areas form the relaxed heart of the home. Premium natural stone, custom cabinetry, integrated European appliances and a generous butler’s pantry support both family routines and entertaining. Large glazed openings extend living towards the covered alfresco and landscaped gardens.

The result is a Brighton residence where European formality is softened by light, landscape and a clear connection between indoor and outdoor life.

A successful French Provincial residence begins with a façade that creates order from the street and a plan that makes that order useful inside.

The Chelmsford Street project in Balwyn North is composed around strong symmetry and a clear central arrival. Tall paired columns give the entrance vertical emphasis, framing wrought-iron doors and full-height glazing. A pale stone expression, dark hipped roof, classical balustrades and restrained ornament create depth while keeping the overall frontage calm and legible.

This disciplined approach extends to the home’s planning. Formal entertaining and relaxed family living are balanced within distinct but connected zones, while the central kitchen and family domain support daily routines as well as larger gatherings. Privacy, natural light and flexible family use remain central to the experience.

The result is a residence with genuine presence, achieved through proportion and hierarchy rather than decoration alone—an assured response to Balwyn North’s established prestige setting.

The Pearl Contemporary Retreat begins with a simple coastal idea: orient daily life towards light, water and horizon.

The home is planned across elevated levels to capture uninterrupted sea views and respond to the natural topography of its site. Expansive glazing frames the coastline and maintains long visual connections through the interior, while controlled openings preserve privacy where it matters.

Rather than relying on rigid geometry, subtle curvature and layered volumes create a softer, more fluid composition. This approach allows form, light and shadow to change throughout the day, giving the residence depth without excess.

Generous terraces extend the living areas outdoors, creating places for entertaining, relaxation and quiet observation of the landscape. Inside, natural light moves across the spaces and strengthens the relationship between interior and exterior.

The result is a coastal retreat defined by openness, calm and clarity—a home designed to make outlook and atmosphere part of everyday living.
