Our metal wall systems have undergone acoustic testing with CSIRO, giving engineers, builders and project teams confidence in their wall system selections.

Our acoustic engineered stud and track systems were tested as part of complete wall systems to assess acoustic performance under controlled conditions. Testing achieved an impressive 51dB acoustic rating using 13mm AS/NZS-compliant plasterboard in a 92mm cavity wall system.

Our tested systems are designed to:
• Reduce airborne noise and vibration transmission
• Deliver high acoustic performance in wall applications
• Support NCC requirements for Building Classes 2 and 3

And that’s a wrap on our 2026 Sales Summit!

Over two inspiring days, our team came together at our Melbourne HQ, with colleagues travelling in from across Australia and New Zealand to connect, collaborate and share ideas.

We were also joined by keynote speaker Jimbo Luo, Director of Alpine Plastering and Carpentry, who shared valuable insights and perspectives with the team, sparking great conversations across the business.

It was a great opportunity to reflect on where we’ve been, motivate and inspire one another and align on what’s ahead.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the summit happen and to our incredible team for bringing the energy, ideas and enthusiasm.

When specifying wall systems, confidence comes from proven performance. Our latest Fire Assessment Report, independently completed by Jensen Hughes, confirms that Intex steel framed wall systems have been assessed in accordance with AS1530.4:2014, confirming suitability for use under the National Construction Code (NCC).

The assessment demonstrated that Intex wall systems are capable of achieving minimum Fire Resistance Levels (FRLs) of:

🔥 -/60/60 for single-layer wall systems using 16 mm fire-rated plasterboard.
🔥 -/120/120 for double-layer wall systems using 16 mm fire-rated plasterboard.

Intex is back in the lab, continuing our commitment to delivering independently tested building solutions.

The visit gave students the opportunity to explore a range of career pathways within the building and construction industry and included tours of our Head Office/Distribution Centre and presentations from our Marketing, Procurement and Supply Chain Operations team.
