A four-year-old dwelling has experienced ongoing ceiling leaks since construction. As a result of prolonged water ingress, significant damage to the plasterboard ceilings is evident, including staining, deterioration, and loss of structural integrity.
The affected ceiling areas now present a risk of collapse due to sustained moisture exposure.
During my inspection today, the cause of the ongoing leaks was identified. Three (3) roof tiles were found to be missing on the two-storey roof, allowing direct water ingress into the roof space and contributing to the internal ceiling damage.
