Another ducted AC VEU project, done ✅ New Mitsubishi Electric ducted system in. Outdoor unit on the side of the house, indoor unit and ducting up in the roof space, and the return air grille fitted inside.

New Daikin reverse cycle in, another VEU job done ✅ The outdoor unit is the bit you see. The indoor unit and ducting under the floor are where most of the work is, and that’s the part we put the most care into. Everything’s run properly and tested before we leave.

Most of our job happens where you’ll never see it. Squeezing through the roof cavity, running the ducting properly, checking every join before we leave. You don’t see it, but you feel it every time the house is the right temperature. That’s the part we take pride in.

Edithvale evaporative cooler change over, done ✅ Old unit off the roof, new Bonaire cooler up. We also swapped the water shutoff and ran a new drain all the way to the gutter, so it’s not dripping onto your roof tiles all summer.

Doncaster VEU project, done ✅

Old gas heater out the side of the house, new ducted reverse cycle in. Indoor unit and ducting sorted up in the roof space, outdoor unit tested before we packed up.

Heating in winter, cooling in summer, and the VEU rebate took a decent chunk off the cost.

Plenty of people are still running an old gas heater because they assume replacing it costs a fortune. The gas bill keeps climbing, half the house is freezing, and the heater sounds like it's about to give up, but the quote looks scary so it gets pushed to next winter.

What a lot of Victorians don't realise is that the VEU program can take a big chunk off the cost of a new reverse cycle system. This one is a VEU job from start to finish: old gas unit out, new ducted reverse cycle in, ducting sorted properly and everything tested before we leave. POV: turns out "she'll be right" doesn't apply to gas hot water units 😅

This one had clearly been left a little too long. A lot of people put off getting these checked because it's still technically working. But with gas hot water units, by the time you notice a real problem, it's usually already past the point of a quick fix.

So we pulled the old one out, got the new unit up, connected, tested, and running properly. No shortcuts, no "that'll do for now", just a proper install that'll actually last.👍
