This is really interesting! An app could soon be available in Australia that would offer consumers an opportunity to reduce their energy usage at peak times in exchange for a discount on their next power bill. Would you be willing to turn off your AC when you get home from work in return for a discount?

An app that could cut households' power bills, or even allow them to turn a profit, by trading their electricity usage on the energy market could be available in Australia within months.
