Please check your flexi hoses... i should have been in bed.
As soon as you see brown spots, change them, if not we strongly recommend at the very least change them every 5 years.
We are here to work obviously and this is a job to do but we would much rather not see a client in distress, not knowing where to turn off the water and the fact there were no ministops under the sink.. If there was, the client could turn off that and wait till the morning, instead they had no choice but to call us..
We found the meter, the stop tap was bent so to make things even worse we had to turn on every tap on the property and do this live.. not fun at all..
