Meet Joel – one of our standout apprentices at BRW Elec Industries.
Growing up on a wheat farm south of Ouyen, Joel left High School to start an electrical apprenticeship with BRW — and he’s set to begin his 4th year with us this coming January.
Over the past year, Joel has taken on some of our more complex tasks, particularly with lighting control systems at the Mildura Specialist School, where his attention to detail and work ethic have been second to none.
Footy is Joel’s passion — he plays seniors for the Ouyen Football Netball Club, and every November, he takes a few weeks off to help out with the family wheat harvest.
He’s also happily off the market after meeting a lovely Mildura local — but before that, he held the unofficial title of one of Mildura’s most eligible bachelors!
And of course, he proudly serves as the President of the BRW Social Club (another unofficial title, but a well-earned one).
We’re lucky to have Joel on the team — a great worker, a great teammate, and a big part of our culture here at BRW.
