This job was a great example of why we offer our customers a whole house plumbing inspection while we are on site.
We were called to this property to solve a constant leak from a flexi hose, but while we were there we found other flexi hoses at risk of bursting.

The high risk hoses were replaced on the spot and a quote has been put together for all other recommended work.

If you would like peace of mind with the plumbing in your home. We highly recommend having a whole house inspection completed. It takes around 10 minutes and could save you thousands of dollars and stress!

Another gas boosted low level solar system beyond economical repair with split leaking solar panels.
Panels left on roof drained, everything else disposed of and a new and efficient Rheem continuous flow system goes in as the only means of water heating.

This was the best value for money option for this family with the least likely ongoing issues. Simple, minimal maintenance and good reliable hot water.

Burst Iplex pipe under driveway 💦

If you have had a similar issue in the past, it’s important to check the depth the pipe has been installed. Being too shallow will drastically increase the risk of a burst pipe, especially if the area is subject to vehicular traffic.

Who uses these plastic toilet fresheners?

Caution - if these things are accidentally flushed, it can turn into a time consuming and expensive job to remove it.
Most commonly the toilet has to be removed and often replaced if it’s been cemented in. We’ve even had to cut out concrete footpaths to gain access to remove them.

Food for thought, especially if you have young children 👍

If you have reticulation but don’t know where to isolate it manually, we recommend adding it to your todo list to find out! (It’s most commonly found close to your water meter)

Locating it will not only give you peace of mind and control if your retic springs a leak. It may also assist in helping you identify the reason for your high water bills if your master solenoid valve is letting by.
