Finally all washed and put back in the shed for the winter. It has been a massive year and I would like to thank everyone for your help throughout the season, it is very much appreciated indeed.
After 20 years of harvesting down the South East, I will no longer be heading down there and instead will be harvesting our own crops at Mintaro. I will still be looking after my normal customers and if anyone is looking for a hand or thinking about getting a contractor, give me a call to discuss your requirements. I have definitely got room for another job after our own harvest is finished at this stage.
Now to start seeding.!!!

Nice to get back on the tractor at home for a change. Very happy with the job our new He Va deep ripper is doing. We got a demo last year and were very encouraged with the results. Hopefully it will ariate the soil by breaking up the hard pan and help with drainage. It's a very heavy well made bt of kit.💪🏼💪🏼👍🏼

I still have a bit time available if anyone is looking for some excavator work done before seeding. This is how I turn rock reefs into productive land without having to lift any stones by hand!!!
Step 1. Remove any rocks that have been tipped on top of the reef
Step 2. Rip through the reef with the single tine ripper
Step 3. Sift through the rocks & the soil with the rake leaving 95% of the soil in the hole and any rocks below 150 mm
Step 4. Level the ground and track in the soil with the digger.
Step 5. The removed rocks can easily be loaded straight into a truck with the digger or left on the ground to be loaded up later.
The machine is currently working near Hilltown but happy to travel.

If you are looking for any farm Excavation work done before seeding, give me a call on 0404730584. It's the perfect time of year to remove those rock reef's and turn them into productive cropping land.
Experience in removing rock reef's, pine tree's, demolition of old building's, renovating creek washouts, widening roads, stump removal, farm clean up's and general Excavation work. I have a wide range of attachments to cover all types of work. I also have my own low loader now which is left on site with the digger and enables the machine to be moved easily between jobs on larger property's and across roads etc.
I have got a bit of work lined up but still have room for a bit more before seeding, so if you are thinking about getting some work done give me a call sooner rather than later to discuss your requirements.

A little bit of harvest so far. Despite the weather and the extremley tough conditions,I am delighted with our progress. We had a great run trucking everything down to the south east yesterday and hopefully we get a good run with the weather after this rain passes.🤞🏻🤞🏻

It's been a bit of a job, but finally, the low loader sailed through its inspection 1'st time and I'm very happy with how the digger sits on it. It will be a lot easier to move it now when it is out on a job and only needs to be moved across the road or a couple of km's etc. A very big thank you to everyone involved in giving the old girl a new lease of life. It is very much appreciated. 🚛🚛💪🏼💪🏼👍🏻

Pre season just about completed. Replacing the feeder house chain, sprockets, bearings, wear strips, and the wear plates on the DFR. Very happy to get over 1300 rotor hours out of a chain with not a lot of wear on the sprockets. It has a lot of work in front of it this year the way things are looking.🤞🏻🤞🏻

After replacing the floor and fabricating the new tool boxes from scratch on the service truck last winter. I had no plans at all to take on another winter project.
Well that all changed when I bought a drop deck widener to help move the digger and combine.. Its a solid old trailer and is not needing a massive amount done to it. I've just been really struggling to find the time this year but it's getting there..
Good job I've got a patient wife.🤔🤔😀😀😀

A bit more work I have been doing with the digger. Demolishing an old house and sheds and tidying up pine trees that were starting to fall over. The hydraulic grab is great for this type of work as the steel and timber can be sorted into separate piles while demolishing the stone work. It is also great for piling and stoking the trees as they are burning.🔥 🔥
