Out with the old, in with the new! 🔧

Under this basin in Nunawading, we swapped tired old flexi hoses for brand new braided ones. Flexi hoses are one of the most common causes of household floods, so we recommend replacing them every 5 years.

We also fitted Mini Stops. These are small isolation valves on each hose. If a hose ever bursts, you turn off the water right there under the basin. No mad dash to the water meter, and no indoor swimming pool.

Not sure how old your hoses are? That usually means it's time. 😉

A customer called us out because their toilet wasn't flushing properly. Luckily, we found a replacement outlet valve that did the trick, replaced the cistern seal while we were at it, and got everything working again.

Not every repair requires a whole new toilet - sometimes it's about finding the right part for the job!

🚿 A slow-running shower in Heathmont

This job looked like a straightforward showerhead blockage, but the culprit turned out to be the hose itself!

We grabbed a replacement hose from a nearby supplier, fitted it and crossed our fingers that the handpiece wasn't blocked too.

Thankfully, once everything was back together, the handpiece worked like a charm. One new hose, a properly running shower and no need to replace anything else. 👍

Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference!

While on site, we also completed a plumbing inspection report and serviced the hot water unit, checking its operation and confirming it was producing the desired water temperature.
