Position Overview:
Position Required: Qualified Roof Plumber/ Supervisor
Reporting Relationships: Director/Owners - Matthew Taylor
Redesign Coordinator
Office Support
Liaise with the office and other team members and clients.
Expected hours of work: 7:00am – 5:00pm. However, the nature of this position may often require time outside of standard hours, these being paid at normal rates unless overtime rates apply.
Expected Contract Rate: Negotiable, dependent upon demonstrated ability and previous experience.
Role: To be able to undertake any roofing work assigned by the Director and/or Supervising Project Managers in a positive efficient and productive manner with pride, excellent workmanship, and quality to align within our quoted scope.
Responsibilities:
Complete your job according to the 'Roofing Guide Booklet' specification. If something is missing, seek clarification from Matt.
Turn up to work at the correct time.
Flexible to add holidays/ RDOs in advance if jobs are not booked in.
If you are sick, contact your customer to ensure they know you will not be in. Let your supervisor know so rescheduling can happen.
Carry out all work as instructed by the Director and/or Roofing Manager in the expected time frame.
Have your own basic kit of tools and work towards acquiring more tools as appropriate.
Ensure that your tools and those belonging to Taylor’D Roofing & Cladding Pty Ltd are kept maintained in good working order so you can produce quality work.
If any tools or equipment are broken notify your Manager immediately so it can be fixed promptly.
Fill in your timesheets daily on Fergus. Training provided.
Make sure that your site is safe at all times, (according to Safety regulations pertaining to Installation of metal roofing).
It is expected that you will abide by the ‘House Rules’ and the ‘Rules of the Game’ of Taylor’D Roofing & Cladding Pty Ltd.

If needing to return the job at another time, liaise with client and your Manager.
Communication is paramount, do not hesitate to report any concerns immediately.
You are encouraged to participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall team spirit. Your input, ideas, and openness are encouraged and valued.
Be willing to share expertise with other staff members, especially apprentices.
Key Performance Indicators:
Complete all time on jobs in Fergus, with the correct job number and accurately taking account of materials that need to be ordered. To the Roofing Bible specification.
Be punctual at all times when arriving at work and on client jobs. You will provide a high level of customer Service at all times.
Client satisfaction will be assessed through feedback from clients.
Clean as you go (CAYAG) from jobs and dispose of correctly. Recycling done where possible at all times.
Keep work vehicle clean and in good working order, completing vehicle checklist weekly.
All Reciepts sent to [email protected] are accounted for.
Time on jobs not exceeded.
All and any accidents reported to your manager immediately and a hazard report completed and revision of safety before proceeding with any further works.
All broken/damaged equipment is reported immediately to your manager. This can be logged in Fergus.
