Our team has recently started fencing works on a brand-new warehouse facility right here in our own backyard. The scope called for black powder-coated chain wire fencing, a clean and modern finish that blends security with visual appeal.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing, the site sits on steep, boggy terrain, which meant strategic excavations and pumped concrete to complete the works safely. Thanks to solid planning and a can-do crew, we have overcome stage 1.

Another successful project completed by the PLC Fencing team! We recently upgraded the security perimeter at a substation in Port Lincoln by removing outdated Chainwire fencing and installing a robust weldmesh system. The scope of work also included constructing a new concrete plinth and gate aprons and utilising the existing retaining wall by fixing weldmesh panels on top—ensuring a secure, cohesive boundary with minimal environmental impact.

PLC Fencing Pty Ltd is a 100% Australian owned company providing quality fencing manufacture and installation services to a variety of industries.

We are currently seeking to develop a new candidate to join the team as a Fencer. As a Fencer, you will be required to carry out all necessary tasks for er****on of high-quality fencing. This will include assisting with the manufacturing and installation of all types of fencing, from rural fencing through to the highest security fencing.

Once taught the necessary skills, you will be a good team player and leader, capable of thinking on your feet and solving practical problems, be able to interpret site plans and carry out works with little instruction.

PLC Fencing is a great place to work with a great team and good working culture. The company has clear pathways to develop your skills and experience in the construction industry. The right person will find themselves developing into a supervisor, site manager, project manager and further.

Skills and Experience

We are seeking to develop the right candidate so therefore no experience is necessary. We will provide all training as required.
The following experience is desirable:

• Basic understanding of or experience in the construction industry and/or fencing industry.
• Experience operating plant and machinery.
• Labouring experience
• Concreting experience
• Basic welding experience

Personal Attributes

• Physically fit and good work ethic
• Self‐motivated, proactive, and efficient.
• Effective time management
• Willingness to learn and utilise new skills and knowledge.
• Flexible and responsive

Qualifications

The right candidate must have a current drivers licence. We will provide all other training and qualifications as required. This may include:

• White Card
• Forklift licence
• MR/HR/HC heavy vehicle licence
• All high risk work licences
