Congratulations to “Cookie” Porter who took out our 2025 footy tipping competition by one point to finish on 165 for the season. Whilst it was a tough year for Cookie’s beloved Tigers, he was more than happy to accept the BC Garden tipping silverware and is very confident of going back to back in 2026. Well done Cookie!

New Design and Construct Project Loading…

New ninja-mode playground in progress 🤸‍♀️

A new playground is coming soon to Aldershot Reserve in St Albans Park. Opening in November, just in time for summer, the new space will include a ninja warrior course, flying fox, junior play tower, in-ground trampoline, sensory panel and nature play.

The old playground is currently being removed to make way for this exciting upgrade.

This project is part of the Aldershot Reserve Masterplan and is backed by $1 million in City funding.

The fenced dog park is already open, and there’s more to come soon, including an asphalt pump track, new fitness area, accessible toilet, and landscaping to make the whole reserve even more enjoyable for the whole community. 🌳
