We’ve recently been made aware of third-party companies based outside our region (including Sydney) pretending to offer skip bin hire in our area. These businesses take your payment upfront and then reach out to us or other local operators to try and organise a bin — often charging you more than our actual prices and keeping the difference for themselves without doing any of the work.
Worse still, we’ve now had reports of customers being scammed by one of these companies (specifically “Hire Skip”) — paying for a skip that was never delivered, with no way to contact the company or get a refund.
⚠️ To avoid being ripped off:
• Only book directly through Copper Coast Mini Skips via our official phone number, website, or page.
• If you’re ever unsure whether you’re dealing with us directly, contact us before making any payments.
We pride ourselves on being locally owned and operated, and we don’t want to see anyone in our community taken advantage of by these deceptive tactics.
