Ignite Firewood has a partnership with Beyond Subsistence, which is a development organisation working specifically with farmers in Africa. 100% of our profits go towards projects that combat deforestation by training farmers to plant trees on farms and educating families to build and use fuel-efficient cook stoves. In countries like Uganda, deforestation is a major issue with around 90% of the population dependant on firewood for cooking.
