Due to recent business growth, we have a new full-time position available for a motivated and ambitious individual looking for an opportunity to grow their career in a dynamic and forward-thinking business. The role would suit a self-starter with agricultural or irrigation experience, with the potential to progress into a management role for the right candidate.



The right candidate will receive any training necessary in the below areas.



Duties & Responsibilities

Service and install pumps, filters, and a variety of irrigation equipment
Install and service solar pumping equipment
Service and install a large variety of Irrigation systems
Poly welding
Service and repair of high-pressure washing equipment
Operate and maintain trenching equipment
Basic plumbing services
Basic steel Fabrication
Installation, maintenance, and repair of small and large agriculture water meters
Installation, maintenance and repair of remote monitoring and automation equipment
Installation and construction of large water tanks


Qualifications & Skills

Essential

Drivers license
Minimum 4 years’ experience in irrigation or agriculture industry
Experience with installation and repair of pumps and irrigation systems
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
The ability to work independently and make decisions
Preferred (but not essential)

Water Meter Meter installation and validation experience
Certificate IV in Irrigation
Mechanical and plumbing skills
Strong steel fabrication skills
Machinery operation skills (excavator, bobcat, trenchers).


What We Offer

Above award salary and the opportunity to progress into management role. $70,000 to $90,000.

• Above award salary and the opportunity to progress into management role. (Salary range $70,000 - $90,000 based on a 40-hour week, subject to skills and experience)

The right candidate will be required to complete activities listed below and will receive training in areas necessary.

Did your pump survive the flood? Geoff's did! Set up in a protective PVC casing down the banks of the Gwydir, Geoff's pump didn't end up downstream like many others in the area.
