Still taking this one inā¦
Iām so extremely proud to share that Thompson Electrical Solutions has been named the 2026 NECA Small Contracting Business of the Year (Victoria).
Iām still in shock but, standing up there accepting this award was such a huge moment. I honestly couldnāt believe it. Honestly though, this award and the recognition that comes with it, belongs to our whole team, I couldnāt do it without you guys.
When Stace and I put this submission together, we wanted it to represent what TES is really about. It was written and based on the people we have surrounding us, the culture weāre striving for and building, the way we look after our customers, our core purpose and the role we play in our local community (and how we are working to strengthen this).
A big part of all of this, has been our commitment to education and helping people better understand electrification, through our amazing partnerships with Repower Mornington Peninsula, the Home Innovations Centre and the conversations and relationships we have with our customers.
To the teamā¦thank you. Iām genuinely so proud of you guys! We are building something so damn good. The care you put into your work, the way you support each other, have eachothers backs and the pride you take in representing Thompson Electrical is what makes our business strong and what it is today.
To our customers, wholesalers, industry support partners and everyone in our community who has supported us along the way, thank you so much for continuing to back a local small business like ours, it honestly means everything.
When I started TES, the goal was pretty simpleā¦do good work, look after people and build a business to be proud of.
To now be recognised by NECA as Small Contracting Business of the Year is something Iām extremely grateful for and something I do not take lightly.
Proud of what weāve achieved. Even prouder of the people we are doing this with.
And weāre only getting started š this next chapter for us is going to be bloody epic!
