Hey guys,
We’re on the lookout for an Estimator to join the team at Thompson Electrical Solutions.
This person will work closely alongside me, assisting with quoting and system design across a wide range of projects but primarily solar, battery storage and electrification upgrades.
We’re looking for someone who is personable, organised and who can work independently when needed, but also enjoys being part of a close-knit and supportive team environment.
Experience within the electrical, solar, or construction industry is highly regarded but not at all required, just a good attitude, good communication and a willingness to learn.
The role will include:
• Preparing quotes and proposals our quoting software and ServiceM8
• Working alongside me (Alex) on system design and project scoping
• Reviewing site information, photos and customer requirements
• Assisting with customer communication throughout the quoting process
• Helping ensure quotes are clear, accurate, and tailored to the customer’s needs
• Contributing ideas and helping improve systems and workflows as the business continues to grow
• Based from our Mornington office, initially part time with the option to expand. Pay will be based on the persons’ skill set and what they bring to the table
