New underground conduits and pits installed. Old submain cables pulled from old switchboard and re diverted to new MSB.
New main incoming cables installed from service fuses and made off.

Final year apprentice or A class electrician required.

JCI electrical is experiencing great growth and is therefore looking to recruit an A-Class electrician or final year apprentice to join our business.

The job will involve refurbishment of portable buildings for FIFO sites, testing and inspection of temporary portable cabins for construction industry sites and basic maintenance of new porta-builds.

The site is located in Edinburgh, South Australia, as your base location however there are many new upcoming projects that may require you to work at alternate locations within SA (residential areas only)

The ideal candidate must have a high level attention to detail, excellent working standards, great team collaboration and clear and concise communication skills. We also request a full understanding and respect of all Safe Work Practices.

You will need to be adaptable as the job on site can change at short notice and you must be confident, be able to work autonomously and use your own initiative to get the job done.

General electrician duties will include but not limited to:

Testing and inspection of buildings and work.
Maintenance electrical work, exchanging faulty / damaged equipment.
Installation of socket and lighting circuits
Test and tagging
1st and 2nd fix work
Ability to read drawings and plans
