Eclipse Sun Control and Patios is a small family business operated by Craig Lawrence. The business commenced in 2006 after Craig had spent the past twenty years working with his Dad in the same industry. If you need a structure to improve your outdoor dining/entertainment area Craig can probably help with your design, or build to your requirements. The HV Aluminium Eclipse Opening roof system is a

very popular addition to most homes. The louvres are fully operable and can be fully remote controlled, with a rain sensor also. The Hunter Douglas Shademaster roofing system is a very versatile product that has the option of single skin roof to fully insulated roofing, depending on your needs. The Light and Space system using the Gallina multi-cell polycarbonate roofing sheets can be a great addition as the roof can be curved, pitched or flat depending on your preference and house style. Most of these roofing systems can also be combined and complement each other.

As we are on the countdown to Christmas, it is more hectic than usual.
I love Christmas, and so look forward to it, as it is a magical time of year, and a wonderful opportunity to catch up with family and friends, and, we get to have our annual break to recharge our batteries.
This year I came to the realisation that, for Craig, the lead up to Christmas can be an overwhelming time of year.
With all the Covid restrictions and lock downs, Craig has been trying to catch up on the back log of work. Long hours are worked trying to get jobs sorted so our clients can proudly show off their new patio covers, while hosting their Christmas get togethers.
Material supply is still an issue, with our suppliers doing their best, but being at the mercy of supply chains.

We have just learned, that of 11.59pm tomorrow night, Friday 17th of September, 2021, Construction Workers, will not be able to cross from regional over into Metro.
This new restriction will stop us attending any of our worksites in Melbourne, until this is lifted.
The information was obtained from the Latrobe Valley Express and is contained in a press release from the Premier.
More updates will follow once we know more.

With the current snap lockdown looking like continuing, we would like to update the advice we have been given by the HIA regarding our construction work.
Work can only be carried out on unoccupied homes, i.e. those under construction, or those that are not lived in due to renovations.
Work at any occupied homes is prohibited.
Also, since our suppliers are based in NSW we are having difficulty in getting our orders fulfilled.
Please bear with us and we will continue to do our best under the circumstances.
