Montpellier // Modern Farmhouse

The brief was simple. Create a contemporary farmhouse with a clean, intentional design language.

Defined by a series of gable roof forms, varied steel cladding profiles, and a central brick chimney, this home embraces understated rural architecture with a refined modern edge. It’s proof that thoughtful detailing and proportion can elevate even the simplest construction methods into something timeless and beautifully resolved.

Warm textures & timeless materials brought together, working through some facade visualisations for a new custom designed home in the Southern Tablelands.

With a dark Colorbond roof, natural stone detailing & extensive glazing, this design was all about creating a space that’s not only practical but connected to its surroundings.
