The Team at Dycers are delighted to announce the return of Damien Spencer, a former team member. Damien, a highly knowledgeable project manager, will assume a senior management role overseeing on site operations as part of our management team. The team is excited to bolster our expertise and looks forward to collaborating on exciting projects thats Dycer's have secured.

The entire Dycer Constructions team wish to offer our condolences to the team and family at Obriens at his time. RIP Symon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our founding father, Symon following his battle with cancer. Symon and Jill started the business back in 1991 and in October this year will celebrate its 35th birthday.
From humble beginnings with just himself to employing over 30 staff currently, Dad worked tirelessly to build the business based on relationships and providing quality work. Whilst Dad had been technically retired for a few years, he would still love to come into the workshop when he could to catch up on what was happening, give his advice, tidy up, give the apprentices some stick and cook the team a feed of chicken wings and beef jerky. We will strive to continue the amazing legacy that Mum and Dad started all those years ago. He will be sadly missed by all he taught and worked with.
Our office will be closed on Tuesday 9th June to allow our team to pay their respects.
Rest in peace Dad (Symon, Pappy, Tightarse) xox

Newbery Park
A DAP toilet upgrade and some additional ramping and compliant steps are almost complete in Millicent for our second project for the progressive school. Looking forward to getting this in use in the next fortnight.

Varcoe Foundry Refurbishment
Recently the team completed a two stage project to turn the old heritage listed foundry building into a small preforming arts theatre. Externally the build remains the same but internally massive changes.

Jens Hotel Update
All the new posts are in down the western side of the Hotel. The replacement joists are all in, new fascia beams fitted and new fascia now going on.
It’s been a big undertaking to replace the infrastructure and it’s nearly complete. Thank you to DMK Engineering Pty Ltd , GT Civil Solutions, Designs By Solly Pty Ltd for their continued assistance on the complicated build. Next week all the fences will be down and the cosmetic work will begin.

Great to see our new signage at Vansittart Park for the 2026 season. Dycers have been a silver sponsor of North Gambier Football & Netball Club for over 20 years. Our team support many clubs across the area and will continue to do so where ever we can.

Thank you for those who gave up their Friday night to attend our 40 years celebration last night. It was great to catch up with everyone, have a drink and reflect on a journey that started in 1986 and still is continuing in 2026.
