Situated on the corner of Commercial Street East and Watson Terrace in Mount Gambier, South Australia, Jens Hotel is a heritage-listed building originally opened as the Town Hall Hotel on 30 January 1884. Built for Johannes Matthies Jens, it replaced the town’s first hotel and is noted for its grand chandelier, elegant staircase, and decorative iron lacework balcony.

As part of ongoing conservation efforts, the heritage-listed Jens Town Hall Hotel in Mount Gambier has been renovated in several phases. The latest stage began in late August 2025, focusing on major repairs and restoration of the building’s historic balcony.

Hudson Plumbing & Roofing was honoured to contribute to this heritage project by installing heritage-compliant Colorbond OG gutters, rainheads, and downpipes.
