SMC is a Mobile/Field work company that contracts to Mine Sites and other Earthmoving/Roadworks & Transportation companies. We offer Repairs & services of heavy vehicle/equipment & also offer Pilot/Escort services for Transportation of Oversize loads. We are a friendly team and have the ability to offer opportunities for our staff to allow them to grow and gain further skills.
This is a Mount Isa based position (applicants willing to relocate or travel to and from at their own expense will also be considered)
Casual 14/7 or 7/7 Roster, 12 hour shifts, home every night, possibility of full-time employment after 3 month probation period.
Qualifications & experience:
-Trade qualification
-Previous Earthmoving Repairs (Desirable but not mandatory)
-Mine Site Medical or willing to obtain.
-Drivers Licence
-Forklift Ticket or willing to obtain
-Mine Site/Field work experience (Desirable but not mandatory)
-MR Licence (Desirable but not mandatory)
Tasks & responsibilities:
-Repairing Machinery
-Servicing
-Diagnosis
-Maintenance
-Parts ordering
-Minor Paperwork (Service Sheets & Repair records)
-Operating of Machinery (for Servicing/Repairs)
