🔨 EXTON BUILDING CO — EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

QUALIFIED CARPENTER – FIT-OFF ROLE

Exton Building Co is putting out an Expression of Interest for a qualified carpenter who might be looking to move away from the everyday hard yards of heavy lifting and carrying, but still wants to stay on the tools.

We’re looking for someone experienced, reliable and particular about their work to take care of fit-offs across our projects.

The role would mainly involve:

* Installing door handles and locks
* Towel rails & toilet roll holders
* General door furniture
* Adjusting doors where required
* Small finishing items
* General bits and bobs to get homes across the line

This could be a great opportunity for an experienced or older carpenter who still enjoys the trade but wants something a little easier on the body than full-time lock-up, fix and framing work.

What we’re looking for:

✔️ Qualified carpenter
✔️ Strong attention to detail
✔️ Takes pride in their finish
✔️ Reliable and able to work independently
✔️ Own tools and transport
✔️ Someone looking for consistent, ongoing work

We’re a growing and established carpentry business with plenty of work throughout Melbourne’s South-East.

That’s a wrap for the year from the team at Exton Building Co 👏

As we close out the year, we just want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a massive 12 months.

This year has been all about growth — growing our team, growing our capabilities, and growing the trust we have with builders, clients and suppliers. From taking on bigger scopes of work to running multiple crews across Melbourne, the progress over the last 12 months has been something we’re incredibly proud of.
