It's often the little details that make the biggest difference in how a home feels to live in.

We love making great design and practicality coexist.

A dedicated spice drawer beside the cooktop - all labelled in alphabetical order too 😉

Site update from one of our current renovation projects.

The demolition phase is completed and the structural steel has been installed to support the current roof loads.

Bathrooms have been stripped ready for plumbing rough in and the new double glazed windows have been installed.

This project is moving along well even after a bit of a delay to have asbestos removed.

The kitchen, living and dining space has been completely opened up with the removal of the brick wall. A thoughtful design by .studio allows the space to flow onto the front deck through some beautiful timber french doors.

On most renovation projects we need to cut through existing walls to create new door openings.

Here’s a quick look at how we finish off these openings when we have to cut through a stone wall.

By using timber jambs and architraves, it removes the need for the wet trades, like rendering and plastering. Our carpenters can get into the job and keep it moving.

And when it’s completed it looks great too!

Simple, thoughtful design can achieve a great result.

This extension was about creating a functional update to a traditional home without overcomplicating it.

A practical space and seamless connection between old & new

By reworking parts of the original home into an ensuite & wir we've utilised existing space. From here we've added a new bedroom, bathroom, laundry, kitchen & living area.

Thoughtful construction and energy efficient design choices help to create a healthier, more comfortable home all year round.

Work in progress at our renovation project in Tanunda.

Tiling is almost completed and the rear sunroom has been flushed and sanded with the external cladding ready to be installed.

Love the way these renovations can transform and old space into a new, fresh and functional space.

We’re almost at the finish line with this extension at Angaston. And that means our client is very close to stepping back into their newly renovated home.

With the finishing touches happening and testing phase underway, we’re excited to see this home be handed over in a couple of weeks.

This phase of the project is never rushed. Care is taken to make sure the home is tested and tried before we hand it back over to our client.
