We attended a job today to install a new heat light to the bathroom, we had some issues and were testing the light fitting but our volt sticks were sensing voltage wherever we put it.

Turned out the entire roof (which was replaced day before) was Live!!!

The lighting circuit was on a safety switch so there was some form of protection.

Managed to find the culprit relatively quickly and rectify.
