Tetrik pavilion 2019-2026

This Pavilion structure is one of my all-time favourite designs. It strikes the balance between minimalism and clever rigging to create a unique form that really holds a nice environment. It has seen many iterations over the last 7 years and over that time has been refined into what it is today.

I'm happy to share a little reflection of some of its iterations over the last 7 years.

Some nice shots of the expanded structure for last NYE.
Its been amazing to see Tanglewood grow from I've the years and this was definitely the best year yet.

Very thankful to be part of it all and able to play with some unusual shapes in this mainstage canopy.

Iconic moments from 2022 on the Cahill Expressway as part of Elevate Festival.

This bold event transformed a closed freeway in just 24 hours.

Tetrik designed and fabricated 4 elongated shade structures to fit the site's linear layout, installed overnight and removed in 5 hours.

NGV- Westwood | Kawakubo

This project focused on establishing context for the work of two of the world's most influential designers: Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons.

The initial concept for this project came from Studio Peter King and was subsequently further developed by our studio into a workable format.

Rainbow Reflections 3
One of my favourite iterations of the suspended cloud concept from RSF a few weeks ago.

Beyond the Valley 2025 - Dance Dome

Taking a moment to look back at some highlights as the festival season wraps up.

This marked our 8th year at BTV, featuring an upgraded version of the massive 3000 SQM Dance Dome

Suspended Field 004:

Reflecting on the 2026 studio season. It's been a period defined by exploring unconventional 3D forms.
A personal highlight has been the evolution of the waffle mesh structure. Now on its fourth iteration, this version represents the most successful implementation of the concept to date, balancing structural integrity with movement and softness.

Pitch 2026.
A mix of candid and professional shots from a very big month on site in the Grampians.
Working with PMA for the 9th year on this beautiful site was a dream as always. Thankful for the space to create interesting installations and work with visionary collaborators.
Rain, lighting and wind made for some tough days but the show was all on time and looked better than ever.

Shout out to studio raito for their amazing s2 design and .ec for playing one of the best sets I've seen in years.

Pitch Festival (2017-2026)

With the build for this year's event almost complete, I am pausing to reflect on the past nine years of Pitch Festival.

Across nine editions, we have designed and delivered a number of shade structures and installations.
Working with a minimal design palette, under the guidance of several creative directors, Pitch has provided the canvas for some of our most ambitious designs.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have collaborated with many different creative partners, and to present these reflections on the large-scale works we have produced over the years.

Westwood | Kawakubo | 7 December 2025 – 19 April 2026 | NGV International, Melbourne

We're incredibly proud of the textile curtain installation for the NGV's 'Westwood | Kawakubo' exhibition

Working alongside Studio Peter King and the NGV, we created multiple concept iterations, landing on a final irregular knife-pleat design. This sharp, punk edge design draws inspiration from Westwood's aesthetic, using a slightly transparent material supported by curved extrusions to add depth and atmosphere.
