This jetty was built to last and has plenty of character, mixing modern materials with some quality old timber.
Built using:
• 137 x 23mm ModWood decking
• Recycled hardwood beams salvaged from an old shed
• Ironbark tree log posts
Always good seeing old Aussie hardwood given a second life instead of ending up as firewood.
The customer chose to leave the Ironbark posts long rather than trimming them off, giving the jetty a bit more character and making each post a feature in its own right.
