Project Complete | Balance Tank Rehabilitation – Esk, QLD
Aussie Enviro Excavations recently completed a 10-day rehabilitation project at a water infrastructure balance tank in Esk, Queensland.
The project focused on repairing erosion around the embankment, improving water runoff and reinstating erosion control measures.
Our scope of works included:
Removal and disposal of existing erosion control matting and dead vegetation
Repair of eroded areas around the embankment
Reinstatement of approximately 1,470m² of erosion control matting
Improvements to water runoff management
Replanting of 35 tube stock plants
With tight access around the balance tank and a steep 30-degree embankment, the works required careful planning and a strong focus on safety. Harnesses were used during the reinstatement of the erosion control matting.
Our team utilised a 14-tonne Sumitomo excavator, truck and tag float, and 10m tandem tipper to complete the works safely and on schedule.
Another successful project delivered by the Aussie Enviro Excavations team, with positive feedback from the client.
