I have the privilege of landscape designing and gardening at one of Sydney's finest Art Deco estates, Mahratta at the School of Practical Philosophy. Note the 1940s Moon Gate and craftsmanship of the red brick. The new brick, circle gardenbed mirrors the the gate and houses a beautiful Japanese Maple, which will be happy under the 100 year old Cedar Trees and amongst the newly planted Azaleas and Camellias. This space is now a new outdoor room for meditation and reflection and honours the past student who bequeathed the funding for this project. Thank you John McAndrew.
