Whilst the scratched lime and sand settles down for a bit at the beach I popped inside for a front room makeover. Plaster, bricks, plasterboard and carpentry stuff to put the room back a little like it should have been. Magically stretching the existing skirting to some new areas. Funny what people do when they cover original beauty with misguided tinkering.
Love reworking the misguided! Love my job!

Slowly ‘dubbing out, after a sprayed lime/sand sealer and re finding some shape down at the beach. The house was originally lime rendered / pointed with painted lines on the surface back in its hay day so after taking off the degrading cement render that someone thought was a good fix which totally knackered the stone work we’re going for a straight ish lime render finish. A Tight budget unfortunately means Quoins and other original features like painted lining are a discussion point and maybe a job for another day. Love a discussion point!
